Inspect the checkout route before payment
Inspect the subscription and Beehiiv/Stripe route up to payment. This check does not prove a paid transaction or subscriber access.
Flexible operating surface · static snapshot
The board follows available time and attention—not office hours. Pick the capacity you have; the system shows useful work that can move without reopening the whole project.
Two issue records · separate approval states
Issue 02 is sourced, written, claim-checked, and rendered; it awaits editorial approval and has not entered Beehiiv. The diagram below tracks the earlier miniature issue, which is assembled and awaits permission for a private test. X and Grok Bot remain parked. Payment proof and final release remain open.
Steve · scoped approval
Commercial lane
The six stations above describe the earlier miniature issue, Healthcare AI is leaving the dashboard. Its next step requires Steve’s approval for one private test; final release requires a separate approval after received-email QA. Issue 02 is a different candidate: source-to-preview complete, editorial approval pending, no Beehiiv entry. Checkout checks may proceed separately; payment and paid access remain unproved.
A September micro-run used Gmail and The Innermost Loop's public channels, removed a likely duplicate, and improved the lineup through direct-source verification. Grok Heavy is the broad research surface; Grok Bot is the narrow worker surface. X and Grok Bot remain parked; no workaround is authorized.
The first micro-run produced an accurate but dull analytical draft. A dedicated copywriter pass materially improved the subject, opening, thesis, headlines, pacing, and reader payoff. Copywriting is now its own station after evidence and ordering, ahead of the skeptical edit.
Direction for the miniature issue Healthcare AI is leaving the dashboard is closed for this draft. The draft is complete in Beehiiv with direct-source links, poll, and native Beehiiv sections. A scoped approval covers this draft only; it is not a standing rule for future issues. The fresh Issue 02 candidate (dry run preserved under work/issues/2026-09-06-issue-02-dry-run/) has not received editorial approval and waits at this gate.
The Beehiiv template TNP Issue Template V5.6 — Current was rebuilt from the verified V5.6 issue structure and set as the default post style. Desktop and mobile previews were verified with no horizontal overflow and all images loading. The older template is relabeled superseded and is not the default.
thenextpatient.com is the independent Cloudflare Pages product website. It explains the product and routes subscription and paid-upgrade actions to Beehiiv on www.thenextpatient.com, which keeps subscription, issues, account access, and paid upgrade. The root is no longer a Beehiiv stub. The live issue displayed a $139 annual offer when verified.
With Steve's scoped approval, the completed miniature may be sent only to Steve and inspected in the actual Gmail desktop and phone result. Repair only what the received email exposes; do not redesign the line. No second test email was sent, and nothing was scheduled or published during closeout. Any audience send, scheduling, or publication needs Steve's explicit approval.
The subscription surface exists, but the real Beehiiv/Stripe paid-customer path has not been verified end to end. Walk the offer and checkout path without purchasing or changing the existing ZTS/Keepr Stripe identity. This proof may be run without sending the issue; it sits beside the email path, not inside it.
Capacity selector
This changes the recommendation only. It does not schedule work, change status, or write a rule.
Inspect the subscription and Beehiiv/Stripe route up to payment. This check does not prove a paid transaction or subscriber access.
Work that can move
“Now” indicates sequence, not a deadline. Lower-priority work can still be useful when it fits the energy available. Fit marks reflect the selector above, never production status.
Start at the public product site and follow the real subscription path into Beehiiv and Stripe. Confirm the offer, handoff, and checkout screen without completing a purchase.
Fits nowSend the completed miniature only to Steve, then verify the actual Gmail desktop and phone result. This is a proof step, not publication.
Fits nowThe source and skeptical-claim passes are complete. Review the actual words and hierarchy; approve the named candidate or return specific sections to copywriting.
Fits nowGmail and Innermost Loop produced a new four-story candidate without X. The issue is source-checked and rendered; Beehiiv entry, sending, scheduling, and publication stayed closed.
Fits nowConfirm that a new visitor understands the product and reaches the working Beehiiv subscription surface from desktop and phone.
Fits nowSelect one reader segment and one testable route. Keep postcard, paid search, and multiple outbound channels closed until one loop is measurable.

No workaround. Resume the narrow X-scout only after Steve resolves the account connection.
The V5.6 draft is ready. A private test may go only to Steve after explicit approval; nothing is scheduled or published.
These are ZTS operating rails, not TNP production work. They stay outside this board’s critical path.
